Hey Gang!

How are you doing? Me, I’m as good as I can be, all things considered. As I’m sure you know, this pandemic has made it pretty tough to run a small business. I’ve been taking it day by day, working on new stuff, but I’ll be honest, I’m moving even slower than usual. It’s hard to be creative in these bizarre times.

As I keep puttering along on the new stuff, I thought I’d try a little experiment.

REPRINTS!
Over the last almost 10 years the Quarrelsome Yeti has released a buttload of original T designs (at least 50), as the newer stuff gets released, older prints go out of print & become unavailable.

Occasionally someone will ask me if I still carry something, and usually the answer is no. This operation is fairly small, and we’ve only got room for a limited amount of stock.

So, that brings me to the experiment. Over the next few months, I’m going to give you folks the chance to revive some older faves.

Every 10 days I’ll offer 1 classic, out of print Quarrelsome Yeti design for pre-order. If that design gets a MINIMUM of 15 orders it’ll print & ship. If we don’t hit that goal, I’ll move on to the next one. Anyone who ordered will be refunded. 

If you really want to get one of my old designs re-printed, maybe you can help me out with promotion and put a little work into juicing the order quantity. That would be amazing!

Here’s the truth, this experiment has me a nervous for two reasons. First, these are old designs and I like to think that I’ve improved as an artist over the years so sometimes I have a hard time looking back on these oldies.

Secondly, what if I keep doing this and we never hit an order goal. How embarrassing would that be?! But you can’t win if you don’t try and I think I can handle the disappointment. 

Finally, I wanted to send a sincere thank you to anyone who has bought anything from the shop, liked a post, shared something, or sent a kind word. All of your support is welcome and appreciated. We managed to pay the studio rent for May and that is a huge victory, thank you so much.

Seabeast V is larger than the previous three at 12" x 36". I treated myself to a new three-foot squeegee, that I'm calling Squeegeezilla, just to print it. These prints should be much easier to frame than my previous prints in the series. You should be able to find standard 12 x 36 frames at most frame shops, or if you are too busy to shop, you can check out frames on Amazon.
